1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the UleBot service ("Service") — including by sending any message to UleBot on WhatsApp, visiting our website, or making a payment — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and UleBot ("we", "us", "our"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a minor in your care, you accept these Terms on their behalf and are responsible for their compliance.
2. Description of Service
UleBot is an AI-powered educational technology service that delivers exam preparation content via the WhatsApp messaging platform. The Service includes:
- AI-generated practice questions for national and institutional examinations (JAMB, WAEC, NECO, KCSE, and others)
- Automated question marking and scoring with per-question explanations
- AI-generated study handouts and topic summaries delivered as PDF documents
- AI-powered explanations for any educational topic
- Timed mock examinations with graded results
- Study tracking, streaks, points, and leaderboard features
- Audio explanations (where enabled)
- Exam countdown reminders and weekly performance reports
The Service is delivered entirely through WhatsApp. You do not need to install any additional application to use UleBot.
3. WhatsApp and Meta Disclaimer
UleBot is not affiliated with WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms Inc. UleBot is an independent third-party service that uses the WhatsApp Business API — a public developer platform provided by Meta — solely to deliver educational content. We are not endorsed, sponsored, authorised, or in any way officially connected to WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms Inc. The "WhatsApp" name and logo are registered trademarks of WhatsApp LLC. "Meta" is a trademark of Meta Platforms Inc. All rights in those marks belong to their respective owners.
Your use of WhatsApp to access the Service is additionally subject to WhatsApp's own Terms of Service at whatsapp.com/legal/terms-of-service and their Privacy Policy. UleBot is not responsible for WhatsApp's platform policies, outages, or changes to their service.
UleBot is not responsible if WhatsApp restricts, suspends, or terminates our access to their platform or your access to WhatsApp. In such circumstances, we will endeavour to notify you and provide an alternative means of accessing the Service or receiving a refund.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you must have consent from a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements above and that all information you provide to us is accurate and truthful.
5. Account and Access
Your "account" with UleBot is identified by your WhatsApp phone number. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of the WhatsApp account associated with our service
- All activity that occurs through your phone number on UleBot
- Notifying us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed by an unauthorised party
You may not share your UleBot access with others or allow others to use your subscription. Each subscription is personal to the registered phone number. We reserve the right to suspend accounts where we detect sharing or misuse.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
6.1 Subscription Plans
UleBot offers several subscription tiers. Current pricing is displayed on our website and within the WhatsApp service. Prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and may vary by region. We reserve the right to change pricing with 14 days' advance notice.
6.2 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely by Paystack, a PCI DSS-compliant payment processor. By making a payment, you also agree to Paystack's terms of service at paystack.com/terms. UleBot does not store your payment card or bank account details.
6.3 Subscription Activation
Subscriptions are activated immediately upon successful payment confirmation from Paystack. Usage limits (questions, explanations, handouts) are applied to your account according to the plan you purchased.
6.4 Renewal
Subscriptions do not automatically renew. When your subscription expires, you must manually purchase a new subscription to continue using premium features. We will send reminder messages via WhatsApp before your subscription expires.
7. Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with the Service. Our refund policy is as follows:
7.1 Eligibility for Refund
You may request a full refund within 48 hours of your subscription purchase if:
- You have used fewer than 10 questions or 1 AI explanation from your purchased plan
- You can demonstrate a significant technical failure on our part that prevented you from using the Service
7.2 Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be granted if:
- More than 48 hours have elapsed since purchase
- You have substantially used the features of your plan
- The request is made because WhatsApp restricted your personal account (not UleBot's fault)
- You simply changed your mind after use
- You purchased a top-up pack (top-up purchases are non-refundable once any portion is used)
7.3 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send a message to UleBot saying "REFUND REQUEST" followed by a brief explanation, within 48 hours of purchase. We will process eligible refunds within 5 business days via the original payment method.
7.4 Service Termination Refunds
If we terminate the Service entirely, we will provide pro-rated refunds for any unexpired subscription periods of more than 7 days remaining.
8. Free Trial
New users receive a free 7-day trial that includes up to 50 practice questions and basic access to the Service. The free trial is limited to one trial per phone number. Attempting to create multiple accounts to obtain additional free trials is a violation of these Terms and may result in permanent account suspension.
At the end of the free trial, access to premium features will be restricted until a subscription is purchased. No payment details are required to start a free trial.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful educational purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service to engage in academic dishonesty, including submitting AI-generated content as your own work in contexts where that is prohibited
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract content from the Service in bulk
- Share subscription access with others who have not purchased their own subscription
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits, bans, or subscription restrictions through technical means
- Use the Service to generate harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or illegal content
- Attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in the Service or its underlying infrastructure
- Impersonate other users or UleBot staff
- Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to interact with UleBot unless expressly authorised
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose other than as expressly permitted by the affiliate programme (Section 12)
Violation of these acceptable use requirements may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund.
10. Intellectual Property
The UleBot service, including its software, AI models, branding, website, and the compilation of questions and content generated by our system, are owned by or licensed to UleBot. All intellectual property rights are reserved.
Content generated by UleBot's AI (questions, explanations, handouts) is provided to you for your personal, non-commercial educational use only. You may not republish, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from UleBot-generated content without express written permission.
Printing or saving handouts for personal offline study is permitted and encouraged. Sharing individual questions with friends for educational discussion is also permitted.
11. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Important: UleBot uses artificial intelligence to generate educational content. While we work hard to ensure accuracy, AI-generated questions and explanations may occasionally contain errors, outdated information, or inaccuracies. UleBot content should not be treated as a definitive academic source.
We recommend that users:
- Use UleBot as a supplement to, not a replacement for, official study materials, textbooks, and teacher instruction
- Cross-reference important facts with authoritative sources
- Report any questions or answers that appear to be incorrect using the "REPORT" command within WhatsApp
UleBot does not guarantee that use of the Service will result in any particular examination outcome or score. Results depend on the individual user's effort and other factors beyond our control.
12. Affiliate Programme
UleBot operates an affiliate programme that allows users to earn commissions by referring new paying subscribers. By participating in the affiliate programme, you additionally agree to:
- Promote UleBot only through honest and transparent means
- Not make false or misleading claims about the Service in your promotions
- Clearly disclose your affiliate relationship when promoting the Service
- Not engage in spam, unsolicited messages, or deceptive advertising practices
Commissions are calculated as a percentage of referred subscription revenue. Minimum withdrawal amounts and processing fees apply. Commission rates and terms may change with 14 days' notice. Commissions earned through fraudulent referrals will be reversed.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UleBot and its operators shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
- Loss of data, examination results, grades, academic standing, or opportunities
- Service interruptions, outages, or unavailability of WhatsApp or Meta's platform
- Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
- Unauthorised access to your account resulting from your failure to maintain account security
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 30 days preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain types of damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless UleBot and its operators, agents, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
15. Service Availability
We aim to provide the Service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance (we will notify users in advance via WhatsApp)
- Unexpected technical failures
- Outages affecting WhatsApp, Meta, Paystack, or our AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI)
- Force majeure events including natural disasters, government actions, or internet infrastructure failures
We do not provide service credits for downtime except in cases of extended outages (more than 72 consecutive hours) caused directly by UleBot's systems.
16. Termination
16.1 Termination by You
You may stop using the Service at any time by ceasing to interact with UleBot on WhatsApp. No formal cancellation is required. Your subscription will expire at the end of its term without automatic renewal.
16.2 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without notice, if:
- You materially breach these Terms (including the acceptable use requirements in Section 9)
- We are required to do so by law or at the direction of a competent authority
- Your use of the Service poses a risk to other users or to our systems
For less serious violations, we will generally provide a warning before suspension. Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund.
16.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately. We may retain your data as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections 10, 11, 13, 14, 17, and 18 of these Terms survive termination.
17. Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first if you have any complaint or dispute. Most issues can be resolved quickly through our WhatsApp support channel. Please send "SUPPORT" to UleBot to reach our team.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you agree to attempt good-faith mediation before pursuing any other legal remedy. Disputes that cannot be resolved through mediation shall be subject to the jurisdiction specified in Section 18.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings arising from these Terms shall be brought in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If you are accessing the Service from Ghana, Kenya, or any other jurisdiction, local consumer protection laws may provide additional rights that these Terms cannot override.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Send a notification via WhatsApp to all active users at least 14 days before the new Terms take effect
- For changes that materially affect your rights, request your explicit re-acceptance
Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
